Welcome to the "am Spisertor" Hotel

The Hotel am Spisertor** lies at the edge of the pedestrian zone, ideal to relax after an active day, or for a journey of discovery into the nearby Old Town. The appealing building complex at the “Spisertor” includes an old people’s home and nursing home, (The Kursana Residence) a Hotel-Restaurant (the Hotel am Spisertor), some shops and an underground car park.   The Hotel am Spisertor opens 365 days a year, 24 hours a day; the restaurant opens from 7am until 7pm.   We look forward to your visit, here in the beautiful old city of St. Gallen.

Our 12 non-smoking double rooms are also available as single rooms and offer a maximum in comfort . All rooms are with shower / WC, telephone, in-room safe, W-Lan, radio alarm, and cable TV.   A wide range of drinks and snacks is available in a vending machine.   The car park is free for hotel guests and is like the restaurant, wheelchair friendly.

In all rooms, in the lobby and in the restaurant, internet access is available through Monzoon. Monzoon's own access to Public Wireless LAN is available through a scratchcard which can be bought at the front office. Monzoon Internet Hotspots are available all over Switzerland and your scratchcard can be used in e.g Zurich Airport, all McDonalds Restaurants and over 400 hotels.

The position of the am Spisertor Hotel is very central, at the border of the old city center. All places of interest of St. Gall are within walking distance whereas your car makes holiday in our parking.
